This level works with minimal supervision and acts as a resource for Applications Analyst I.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Candidates should have experience with Epic Beacon.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>A day in the life of an <strong>Applications Analyst II</strong> at <strong>Hackensack Meridian <em>Health</em></strong> includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to effectively share knowledge with and mentor Applications Analyst I.</li>\n <li>Installs/upgrades new/existing applications and components, configures application settings, and validates work performed by Application Analyst I.</li>\n <li>Assists in the coordination of end user support activities.</li>\n <li>Attends, participates in, and contributes to meetings throughout the facility.</li>\n <li>Provides go-live support for users on new applications, modules, and functionality.</li>\n <li>Oversees and/or performs analysis of necessary application modifications and works with IT associates and/or the vendor to coordinate the modification.</li>\n <li>Analyzes business/clinical needs and requirements.</li>\n <li>Interprets end user requirements by fully discussing potential options and helping client move towards optimal solution.</li>\n <li>Evaluates the operational workflow that is applied to the system.</li>\n <li>Creates system specifications from user requirements.</li>\n <li>Creates test plans and tests new systems, version upgrades, and any system modifications.</li>\n <li>Documents all outcomes of testing. Reviews Application Analyst I¿s test plans and documented outcomes for consistency and thoroughness.</li>\n <li>Responsible for application implementation, troubleshooting, and support.</li>\n <li>Presents oral and written communications to project teams and other departments.</li>\n <li>Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues and to higher level staff.</li>\n <li>Updates system, operational, and department documentation.</li>\n <li>Recommends areas for process improvements.</li>\n <li>Provides on-call support for applications.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.</li>\n <li>Lifts a minimum of 20 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 20 lbs. and stands a minimum of 4 hours a day.</li>\n <li>Adheres to the Medical Centers Organizational Competencies and Standards of Behavior.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of IT experience and/or 2 Years of Clinical experience.</li>\n <li>Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.</li>\n <li>Works independently and effectively manages time with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.</li>\n <li>Effective oral and written communication.</li>\n <li>Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with other team members across the department.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates self-direction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree.</li>\n <li>Healthcare experience or related field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses and Certifications Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or where applicable, other relevant applications experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you feel that the above description speaks directly to your strengths and capabilities, then please apply today! </p>\n<h2>Starting Minimum Rate</h2>Minimum rate of $83,782.40 Annually\n<h2>Job Posting Disclosure</h2>HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered. Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
