We are looking for you!</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #1486b2; font-size: 16px\">Job Description</span></span></p>\n<p>As a Pier Solutions foreman, your core goal is to uphold the highest level of professionalism on all sites, demonstrating leadership, collaboration, integrity, service, quality, and a hard work ethic in all your interactions with coworkers, subcontractors, and clients. Reporting to the Superintendent, your project responsibilities will include the following:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting project managers in estimating, creating schedules, ordering materials, and preparing multiple sites for start of construction</li>\n<li>Providing leadership and expertise for internal project planning meetings, kickoff meetings, check-ins, and debriefs throughout the course of projects</li>\n<li>Identifying creative construction methods to complete work requirements efficiently</li>\n<li>Lead and enforce on-site safety practices, including toolbox talks, hazard assessments, site inspections, and compliance with provincial health and safety requirements</li>\n<li>Performing general labour to support the team</li>\n<li>Coordinating site activities and providing general direction to internal labour and subcontractors</li>\n<li>Working together with project managers to maintain on-site documentation, including site instructions, contract changes, safety records, and daily job-site logs</li>\n<li>Inspecting completed work and ensuring the end product meets design drawings, specifications, and Pier quality standards</li>\n<li>Maintaining an exceptional standard of professionalism, respect, and communication on site for everyone involved, and managing conflict as it arises</li>\n<li>Maturing the overall services and capacities of our operations team</li>\n<li>Supporting and providing relief to other crews when necessary</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #1486b2; font-size: 16px\">Other Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work on the road in Manitoba</li>\n<li>Class 5 license is required</li>\n<li>Class 3 or 1A is very beneficial</li>\n<li>Heavy equipment experience is an asset</li>\n<li>Carpentry experience preferred</li>\n<li>Bridge experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #1486b2; font-size: 16px\">Our Mission</span></span></p>\n<p>Bridges in rural Manitoba and Saskatchewan are being replaced instead of repaired or neglected instead of maintained, adding undue cost to taxpayers.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our Solution</span>: we collaborate with local leaders to provide fiscally responsible, proactive, and preventative maintenance options.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our Advantage</span>: we empower clients by uniquely combining engineering and construction expertise. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our clients include municipal, provincial, and federal governments, First Nations peoples, short-line rail companies, and trail associations.
