Make a Difference.</p>\n<p><strong>Elderwood at Hamburg - Full time Position</strong></p>\n<h2><strong>Bring Energy, Creativity, and Connection to Resident Life</strong></h2>\n<p>Elderwood is seeking a compassionate and engaging Activities Leader to support our resident recreation and enrichment programs.</p>\n<p>In this role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing quality of life by leading activities that promote social engagement, mental stimulation, and overall well-being for our residents.</p>\n<p>If you enjoy working with people, creating experiences, and making a daily impact, we’d love to connect.</p>\n<h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan and lead recreational activities and group programs for residents</li>\n <li>Encourage participation and build meaningful connections with residents</li>\n <li>Support individual and group engagement, including games, events, and outings</li>\n <li>Help create a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment</li>\n <li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident needs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Schedule</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-Time | Hours Vary (Day & Evening shifts)</li>\n <li>Includes weekends (every third weekend rotation)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in activities, recreation, customer service, or healthcare preferred</li>\n <li>Compassionate, energetic, and engaging personality</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work with geriatric or long-term care populations preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Why Elderwood</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) with Employer Match</li>\n <li>Health Insurance & Paid Time Off (PTO)</li>\n <li>Employee Referral Program</li>\n <li>Supportive, team-oriented environment</li>\n <li>Opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Apply Today</strong></p>\n<p>Join Elderwood and help create moments that matter for our residents.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Activity Leader:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists the Director Activities in planning and carrying out the activity program.</li>\n <li>Approaches residents on assigned unit to plan individual recreational and social activities; reports to Director Activities about response and cooperation of resident.</li>\n <li>Prepares resident information for use by the Director Activities in care planning and documentation; writes progress notes as assigned.</li>\n <li>Assists in developing and maintaining good contact with community resources for the betterment of the activities program.</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining departmental inventory of equipment and supplies.</li>\n <li>Maintains attendance records and prepares other reports as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>From</h2>\n<h2>Up to</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Activity Leader:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Minimum 18 yrs. age required, HS diploma or equivalent required. </p></li>\n <li><p>Valid New York Driver’s License and clean driving record required. </p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to develop good relationships with staff, volunteers, families and visitors required. </p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to inspire and motivate others, create a warm and accepting climate for residents and be able to adapt and modify activities to meet their needs required. </p></li>\n <li><p>Understanding of the rights and needs of residents required. </p></li>\n <li><p>Physical stamina for constant activity required.</p></li>\n <li><p>This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
