The QISG team brings together Engineering, Safety, Quality, Material Procurement, QA/QC, Right-of-Way Acquisition, Scheduling, Environmental Planning, Permitting, Title and Land Management expertise that ensure outstanding results for our clients.</p>\n<h2>About this Role</h2>\n<p><strong>In office Monday-Friday: 15011 Katy Freeway, TX 77094</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Up to 50% domestic travel.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>Procurement Manager</strong> at QISG plays a hands-on role in supporting the successful delivery of large infrastructure projects through the strategic sourcing of materials and strong supplier relationships. This position leads and develops a team of procurement professionals while ensuring an ethical, competitive bid process and consistent execution across projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In addition to managing day-to-day procurement, this role supports budgeting, forecasting, and month-end projections, and uses data and purchasing analytics to drive cost savings, improve performance, and strengthen overall procurement strategy.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages and oversees Procurement and Expeditor team members</li>\n <li>Supports business development and estimating groups by creating innovative material supply strategies needed to win large infrastructure projects</li>\n <li>Leads material bid process by soliciting pricing from global supply list</li>\n <li>Negotiates contracts with successful material supply bids</li>\n <li>Tracks commodity markets to properly identify material risks</li>\n <li>Establishes and maintains strategic vendor relationships from around the globe</li>\n <li>Tracks project success by tracking forecast, budgeted and actual material pricing</li>\n <li>Expedites material deliveries by tracking status of material manufacturing, shipment and receipt</li>\n <li>Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures</li>\n <li>Performs special projects and completes other job-related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience working in the T&D industry, with previous knowledge of construction contract administration, EPC procurement, and business law</li>\n <li>Proven experience directly leading and developing a procurement team</li>\n <li>Previous experience with supplier and subcontractor prequalification<p>RFPs, bid evaluations and recommendations, contract negotiation and issuance, vendor submittal management, and expediting oversight for EPC T&D projects</p></li>\n <li>Prior experience working with engineering teams and contractors to specify material and review bills of material </li>\n <li>Strong vendor and subcontractor industry relationships </li>\n <li>Self-starter who can work independently while supporting the needs of the team</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively to executive level management </li>\n <li>Customer service and effective time management skills</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or other related field</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Get</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Competitive base salary</strong> </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Generous PTO & paid holidays</strong> to maintain work-life balance</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>401(k) with a generous match</strong> to plan for your future</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Comprehensive benefits</strong> – medical, dental, vision, and life insurance</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Weekly pay</strong> for consistent, reliable compensation</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Great mentoring & career growth opportunities</strong> – we invest in your development</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
