The Role We're looking for a Junior Social Media Manager (Social Exec) to join our New York team — a hybrid role sitting across account service and social content, built for someone who can hold a client relationship as confidently as they can write a caption or plan a content calendar. This isn't a pure social role, and it isn't a pure account role. It's for someone who thrives in the space between the two. You'll be embedded across client accounts, supporting day-to-day client management while owning social content planning, ideation, and community management for specific brands. You'll need platform fluency, strong creative instincts, and enough commercial awareness to understand why the work matters. What You'll Do Account Service Support day-to-day client management across assigned accounts, acting as a reliable point of contact for routine queries Assist in the coordination and delivery of social campaigns, keeping timelines, assets, and workflows on track Prepare client-facing materials including status updates, meeting agendas, and contact reports Collaborate with internal teams — creative, strategy, production — to brief and chase deliverables Maintain project trackers and internal documentation, flagging risks or delays early Social Content Planning & Ideation Own monthly and quarterly social content calendars for assigned brands, aligned to campaign objectives and platform best practice Generate proactive content ideas rooted in cultural moments, platform trends, and audience insights Write compelling, on-brand copy for social posts across Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube Support creative development by writing briefs, contributing to brainstorms, and reviewing content for platform suitability Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging formats to ensure content is always optimised Community Management Manage the day-to-day community presence for assigned client accounts, including monitoring, responding, and engaging across platforms Develop and maintain community management guidelines, tone of voice frameworks, and escalation processes in line with client brand standards Identify and flag opportunities for real-time reactive content or community-led moments Track sentiment, community health, and emerging conversations, reporting insights back to the wider team Social-First x Brand Impact Being socially native is at the heart of everything we do. Success in this role means deeply understanding platforms, creators, trends, and conversations, and translating them into work that feels authentic, bold, and built for the feed. It's okay to be chronically online.
