    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Duties:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Announcing a <strong>New Compensation Plan</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Range</strong> Salary:  Singles Drivers:  <strong>$80,000 - $100,000</strong>  Doubles Drivers:  <strong>$110,000 - $125,000</strong></li>\n <li>Drivers paid <strong>$40</strong> any night in the sleeper berth while \"under dispatch\", <strong>$40</strong> for each Live load or unload, paid <strong>$20</strong> for each drop/hook of a loaded trailer, & all complete pickup and deliveries occurring in the boroughs of NYC paid <strong>$100</strong></li>\n <li>Operating regionally in the Northeast (generally making runs from the Western New York area to the east coast between Maine and Maryland). </li>\n <li>Enjoy the benefits of being home every weekend and sometimes make it home throughout the week - Reset hours are <strong>ALWAYS</strong> at home. </li>\n <li>It may surprise you that our ice cream is only about 5% of what you would be transporting, we have several other long time customers that we deliver for. </li>\n <li>Complying with all Department of Transportation regulations and completing all necessary company paperwork.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What We’re Looking For:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A Class A Certified Driver’s License;</li>\n <li>Class A transportation / over the road driving experience is a big plus, especially if you have experience driving in  metropolitan areas in the Northeast;</li>\n <li>Accountability to exercise safe behavior;</li>\n <li>Compliance with our policies and DOT regulations;</li>\n <li>Quality map reading skills;</li>\n <li>Physical ability to carry up to 75 lbs and bend and climb regularly;</li>\n <li>Physical ability to push, pull a dolly loaded with product weighing up to 500 lbs;</li>\n <li>Flexibility to work irregular schedule;</li>\n <li>Capability to be away on <strong>overnight</strong> routes possibly every other night (at the most out of town Sunday or Monday through Friday);</li>\n <li>Good communication skills (written and verbal) including ability to check in with us regularly;</li>\n <li>Passion for customer service and representing yourself and Perry’s with the highest quality;</li>\n <li>High integrity and commitment to teamwork; and</li>\n <li>Must pass DOT physical and drug test, and have a clean MVR.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Why Perry’s?</u></strong><u></u></p>\n<p><strong>Working with and talking about ice cream… how <em>cool</em> is that?</strong></p>\n<p>Behind every bite of Cookie Dough and every scoop of Panda Paws is a passionate team bringing hard work and creative ideas to the table.
