We don&rsquo;t just integrate robots &mdash; we engineer complete, production-ready systems that power the world&rsquo;s most advanced manufacturers.</p><p>We are growing and seeking experienced <strong>Robotic Programmers</strong> who thrive in dynamic project environments and want to work on high-impact automation systems across diverse industries.</p><hr><h2>What You&rsquo;ll Do</h2><p>As a Robotic Programmer at AMT, you&rsquo;ll play a critical role in designing, programming, launching, and optimizing robotic automation systems.</p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Program, integrate, and debug robotic systems (robots &amp; PLCs)</p></li><li><p>Support installation and startup of automated robotic systems</p></li><li><p>Lead production launch and on-site customer support</p></li><li><p>Develop cost-effective technical solutions while maintaining reliability</p></li><li><p>Review requirements, specifications, and system designs</p></li><li><p>Maintain customer specifications and manage deviations</p></li><li><p>Provide application expertise for material handling, machine tending, and vision-guided robotics</p></li><li><p>Develop integration tools and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce cost</p></li><li><p>Investigate and implement process and technology enhancements</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Technical Expertise</h2><p>We&rsquo;re looking for hands-on experience in:</p><ul><li><p>Industrial robots: <strong>FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or Motoman</strong></p></li><li><p>PLC/HMI programming (Rockwell and Siemens preferred)</p></li><li><p>VFD and Servo control systems</p></li><li><p>Vision-guided robotics applications</p></li><li><p>Electromechanical systems integration</p></li><li><p>Automotive standards (GM, Ford, Stellantis/FCA preferred)</p></li></ul><p>Advanced knowledge of robotic material handling and machine tending applications is highly desirable.</p><hr><h2>Travel Expectations</h2><ul><li><p>Approximately 60% travel to customer sites</p></li><li><p>Project-based assignments may require extended out-of-state work (returning home every other weekend)</p></li><li><p>Past projects have included Colorado, New York, and various U.S. locations</p></li><li><p>Headquarters located in Orion, Michigan</p></li></ul><hr><h2>What You Bring</h2><ul><li><p>Minimum 2 years of industrial robot programming experience</p></li><li><p>Great attitude, confidence in your problem-solving ability, willingness to learn AND mentor others</p></li></ul><p>Preferred experience with automation project installation, system design, programming, and commissioning.</p><p>Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States.
