This role will report to the Regional Head of LatAm and is based in our Bogota office in Colombia. The Investment Manager interfaces with local and international CFM divisions and offices.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a leader in the sustainable finance sector and a pioneer in the renewable energy, water sanitation, oceans infrastructure and green hydrogen sectors. We are committed to driving positive environmental impact through strategic investments in climate-related projects. The Investment Manager will play a pivotal role in executing our investment strategies, managing a portfolio of renewable energy infrastructure for Climate Investor One and water sanitation, waste to energy and oceans infrastructure assets, for Climate Investor Two, contributing to the transformation of the Latin American economy and the transition to a clean energy future.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Management and execution of CIO (25%) CI-2 (75%) Fund Managers Investment and Fundraising Strategy for LatAm</span>.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement investment and fundraising strategies that align with the fund’s climate objectives, with a particular emphasis on managing a portfolio of water sanitation, and oceans infrastructure projects in LatAm, taking into consideration ESG factors and the potential for positive environmental impact.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Portfolio Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a diverse portfolio of water sanitation and oceans infrastructure assets, including production, storage, distribution, with a focus on strategic projects in LatAm.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Due Diligence</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, assessing financial viability, evaluating technology readiness, environmental sustainability, market potential and key risk factors.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Deal Structuring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with the broader investment team to structure deals, negotiate terms, and secure financing for water sanitation and oceans infrastructure projects in LatAm.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Risk Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and mitigate risks associated with water sanitation and oceans infrastructure investments, implementing strategies to preserve capital and maximize returns.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Impact Measurement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain robust impact measurement frameworks to track and report on the environmental benefits of investments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Stakeholder Relations</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foster strong relationships with project developers, partners, and stakeholders in the water sanitation, and oceans infrastructure ecosystem.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compliance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure investments are compliant with all regulatory and ethical guidelines, staying up to date with relevant regulations and industry standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide management, mentorship, and guidance to junior investment professionals, promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Experience</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chartered Accountant, CFA or Engineer with MBA or equivalent master’s degree.</li>\n<li>A minimum of 10-years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance with a strong track record in deal structuring and financial reporting in the Renewable Energy, Water, Waste to Energy and Oceans Infrastructure sector.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical, communication and negotiation abilities.</li>\n<li>English language proficiency in additional to other LatAm languages: Spanish, Portuguese and others</li>\n<li>Proven ability to work across technical/financial and legal aspects of a transaction and work with various specialists internally and with government/shareholder/lender type stakeholders to provide transaction leadership.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of relevant regulations and ESG Principles, compliance requirements, including but not limited to IFRS standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to plan and prioritise effectively: strong project / process and team management skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to apply sound business judgment and an analytical, pragmatic, and creative approach to problem solving.</li>\n<li>Technically proficient (Advanced) in Excel, Word, PowerPoint essential.</li>\n<li>Experience with working in LatAm or other emerging markets is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Behavioural Competencies</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Result-oriented</span> -
