Berkley Risk is focused on providing self-insured entities program administration services and insurance operations which can include taking or sharing risk using Berkley paper. This capability allows us to customize both an insurance company option and a purely administrative option for our customers.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute a structured marketing and prospecting plan to identify and evaluate prospective agents, brokers, and program partners.</li>\n <li>Represent Berkley Risk programs and services to distribution partners, self-insured groups, and industry associations.</li>\n <li>Exercise limited underwriting authority to review submissions, assess risk characteristics, and recommend pricing or terms within established guidelines.</li>\n <li>Communicate underwriting appetite, program parameters, and service capabilities to external partners.</li>\n <li>Support the development and expansion of distribution channels aligned with company goals.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Underwriting to ensure accurate risk evaluation and consistent application of program guidelines.</li>\n <li>Monitor agency and broker performance relative to production, profitability, and service expectations; provide feedback and recommendations to leadership.</li>\n <li>Gather and report on competitive intelligence, market trends, and emerging opportunities.</li>\n <li>Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, presentations, and program communications.</li>\n <li>Participate in industry events, conferences, and onsite meetings with agents, brokers, and clients.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate documentation of marketing activities, agency interactions, and underwriting decisions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>May perform other functions as assigned.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3–5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, program administration, or related field.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance, self-insured programs, and alternative risk structures.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate risk characteristics and apply underwriting guidelines.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Effective communication and relationship-building skills with agents, brokers, and internal teams.</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrixed environment across multiple locations.</li>\n <li>Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and propose creative solutions.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and insurance-related systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Company Details</h2>The Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
