This role provides hands-on exposure to high‑availability, secure IT infrastructure in a large, mission‑critical environment while supporting both daily operations and project-based initiatives.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with monitoring network and system performance, availability, and security alerts.</li><li>Support documentation of network configurations, system changes, and infrastructure diagrams using tools such as NetBox.</li><li>Assist with network refresh and upgrade projects, including equipment staging, racking, cabling, and labeling under supervision.</li><li>Support basic troubleshooting of network, storage, and connectivity issues and escalate as appropriate.</li><li>Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as hardware checks, patching support, and validation testing.</li><li>Participate in site surveys, Wi‑Fi testing, and physical infrastructure assessments across Massport facilities.</li><li>Help maintain accurate inventories of network, storage, and systems assets.</li><li>Support compliance and security activities, including log reviews and access verification tasks.</li><li>Collaborate with IT infrastructure, security, and operations teams on cross‑functional initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION, SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCIES&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Interest in enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, and security best practices.</li><li>Eagerness to learn in a 24/7 operational environment.</li></ul><p><strong>WORK SCHEDULE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>This position is based at our Logan Office Center.</li><li>Ability to work a 37.5-hour work week.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application.</li><li>Ability to pass Massport’s pre-employment-controlled substance test and background checks.</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER</strong></p><p>Collaboration with colleagues at all levels of leadership from all different disciplines, from Aviation to Maritime and beyond.
