In this role, you&#39;ll work in an integrated environment alongside other disciplines to develop and deliver comprehensive services and products to our clients. With excellent cross-training and career development opportunities, you&#39;ll have the chance to grow both personally and professionally while making a meaningful impact on communities.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>What You&#39;ll Do:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Prepare various types of traffic studies such as traffic engineering studies, Intersection safety analysis, Interchange analysis, assist with corridor planning documents</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Provides Intersection and corridor operational analysis</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Assists with the development of intersection operational improvements</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Prepares traffic signal and signing/pavement marking designs</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Using Synchro software develop traffic analysis and help implement signal timing plans</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Participates in project site visits with other project team members as needed</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Assists with transportation planning studies as needed</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Perform and review traffic counts, speed studies, access permits, and safety studies for the Georgia Department of Transportation</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Prepare and review traffic studies to determine appropriate treatments and traffic control to resolve safety and congestion issues</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Works with other disciplines such as survey, roadway design, and environmental to increase engineering knowledge and facilitate successful project delivery</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Demonstrates strong attention to detail</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Performs other duties as requested</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>What You&#39;ll Bring:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from accredited university</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Related experience may be used in lieu of degree</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Transportation or traffic engineering experience within a district traffic office preferred</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Knowledge and skill in Microsoft office and excel is a must.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Knowledge of Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, ArcGIS, and OpenRoads Designer is desired</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Basic familiarity with MUTCD and DOT Design Guidelines and Standards and procurement manual</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Who We Are:</strong> WSB is a design and consulting firm specializing in Transportation, Community Planning, Environmental, Energy, Municipal, and Construction services.
