    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mining Project Service Planner</span> plays a key role in coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring all maintenance and service activities for the mining equipment fleet. The incumbent ensures that all preventive, corrective, and major maintenance tasks are properly planned, resourced, and executed in accordance with OEM standards and the project’s service schedule.</p>\n<p>This position is central to maximizing equipment uptime, optimizing service efficiency, and supporting the technical team in delivering reliable, safe, and cost-effective operations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Planning, or Industrial Management.</li>\n<li>Minimum <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3–5 years of experience</span> in heavy-equipment or mining service planning and coordination.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of maintenance practices for mining and construction equipment (Komatsu, Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Manitou, Bomag, etc.).</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and maintenance software / ERP systems (e.g., Baan, SAP, or similar).</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in remote site environments under demanding schedules.</li>\n<li>Commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain the service and maintenance schedule for the project’s mining equipment fleet.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisors, Parts Department, and Technicians to ensure readiness of parts, tools, and manpower for scheduled services.</li>\n<li>Plan daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities and issue work orders accordingly.</li>\n<li>Track equipment hours, service intervals, and downtime data through the project’s maintenance management system.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with manufacturer service standards, safety policies, and documentation procedures.</li>\n<li>Prepare and update service reports, performance dashboards, and service backlog summaries.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate maintenance history records for all equipment.</li>\n<li>Monitor and report on upcoming preventive maintenance, major component replacements, and planned shutdowns.</li>\n<li>Liaise with OEM representatives and the Project Service Manager for technical support or field campaigns.</li>\n<li>Support continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen activities aimed at improving service planning efficiency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic planning and scheduling ability.</li>\n<li>Technical understanding of heavy equipment systems.</li>\n<li>Strong coordination and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Data-driven approach to decision-making.</li>\n<li>Commitment to reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
