    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Structure Tone, part of STO Building Group, is looking for an assistant superintendent to join their Poughkeepsie project. The Assistant Project Superintendent is responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects. Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports accurately describing project status, and review status with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. May be one of several Superintendents on larger projects.<br><br>&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Coordinate subcontractor work with other trades so they work in a safe and productive way that meets schedule requirements</li><li>Become familiar with project plans, specifications and contract requirements</li><li>Review shop drawings for field dimensions and contract document compliance</li><li>Inspect the work performed by subcontractors to ensure that it meets the requirements of the plans and specifications</li><li>Understand all portions of the Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QAQC) Program and monitor the quality of subcontractor work</li><li>Coordinate dates for specific material and equipment deliveries and assist in updating the material expediting log</li><li>Help prepare and enforce the plan for material lay down areas</li><li>Supervise and coordinate punch list activities</li><li>Assist in maintaining the schedule and prepare mini-schedules for specific tasks</li><li>Monitor and enforce LF Driscoll Safety Program</li><li>Authorize and keep track of extra work performed by a subcontractor</li><li>Organize, schedule and coordinate 3rd party inspections and field reports that are produced</li><li>Assist in resolving document discrepancies for the subcontractors with the design professionals</li><li>Track field manpower for the subcontractors and assist in preparing field daily reports, job diaries and narratives</li><li>Update the field set of documents</li><li>Assist in managing the work of carpenters and laborers</li><li>Work with the Superintendent conducting and documenting the weekly foremen’s meetings</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br>Qualifications:<br><br>&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>High School diploma as a minimum, Associates Degree in related field preferred,&nbsp;and 1 - 3 years of field experience in commercial projects.</li><li>Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman or Field Engineer.</li><li>Well developed communications, interpersonal, organizational and team work skills are required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Salary: 95,000-105,000</p><p>Benefits</p><p>The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: [Medical Insurance] [Dental Insurance] [Vision Insurance] [Health Savings Account] [Healthcare Flexible Spending Account] [Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account] [401(k) retirement plan with employer match] [Life &amp; AD&amp;D Insurance] [Long-term Disability Insurance] [Short-term Disability Insurance] [Critical Illness Insurance] [Accident Insurance] [Hospital Indemnity Insurance] [Home &amp; Auto Insurance] [Family Support] [Pre-tax Paid Parking/Public Transportation] [Paid time off: 2 Weeks for Non-Exempt and Three Weeks for Exempt] [Time Away Benefits] [8 Paid Holidays] [Group Legal] [Employee Stock Purchase Plan] [Identity Theft Protection] [Group Legal] [Pet Insurance] [Employee Assistance Program]<span>&nbsp;</span></p><p>Disclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
