Superintendent
This is a hands-on Superintendent role that will require supporting project teams at client sites and requires up to 85% travel.

Position Summary:
As a Construction Superintendent, you will coordinate our people and processes to ensure our projects are delivered on time and produce desired results for our Construction teams .
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Act as Crew Foreman on construction crew and direct departmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
Delegate and outline the tasks involved in the project and c oordinate internal resources to ensure streamlined execution of projects.
Ensures all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Effectively communicates Pre-Job / JIS / Job Goals to internal and external customers.
Work with operations to effectively support equipment needs.
Delivers all reporting deliverables and data updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Creates and maintains all project documentation .
Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
Actively participates in JSA and uses all necessary steps to complete tasks safely and ensures the safety of others working in the area.
Communicates with all levels of management and crew to effectively present any needs and changes.
All other duties as assigned.
Complexity, Decision-Making, Problem Solving:
Oversees a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
Confidence to STOP work when a problem is immediately identified.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Knowledge of construction job sites and project plans
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to adhere to a written method or procedure.
Confidence to STOP work when a problem is immediately identified.
Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, preferred.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products, including email.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to learn, understand and apply new
Organizational and time management skills.
Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Management Responsibilities:
This role acts as a leader in the field but has no direct reports.
Qualifications
ualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications):
10+ years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in customer service focused and safety-first organization.
Current Driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
Environmental/Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Must have excellent depth perception, hearing, and manual dexterity to operate all machines safely.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
The physical environment for this position requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions in extreme temperatures and weather.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
Other Considerations/Requirements:
Must be able to travel at least 80% of the time.
Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position may require overtime.
