Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 for a 600 bed, two hospital acute care system located in Trenton and Hopewell Township, NJ . In this lead culinary role, you will direct and participate in all of the food production operations for their full-service Cafe, Catering and Patient Meal Services utilizing the speciality meal program "At Your Request". Responsibilities will include: menu planning, hands-on food prep, food & labor costing, inventory/purchasing, training, scheduling and supervision of 50 union and non-union hourly associates.
What You'll Do
have oversight of day-to-day operations;
successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff;
support Patient Service and retail department
develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management)
develop strategic plans;
ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
create a positive environment; and/or
ensure Sodexo standards are met.
