Generator Technician – Telecom Infrastructure Now hiring Generator Technicians across MI, OH, PA, NY, IL, IN, WI, MN, NJ, MA, CT, NY, NJ and VA | Company Truck + Paid Travel Your Impact Pearce is rapidly expanding and hiring Generator Technicians to support critical telecom infrastructure across multiple states in the Midwest and Northeast. In this role, you’ll service and maintain commercial generators that power cell towers and mission-critical communication systems. This is a field-based position ideal for technicians who enjoy working independently, solving technical problems, and traveling to different sites. Why Join Pearce Company-provided truck, tools, fuel card, and mobile device Paid travel and per diem when working outside your home area Consistent, full-time work supporting critical infrastructure Strong career growth into Lead Technician, Specialist, and Supervisor roles Competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and full benefits Work for an industry leader backed by CBRE What You Will Do Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial generators at telecom sites Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues and complete repairs efficiently Install and replace generator components, wiring, controls, pumps, and related equipment Conduct performance testing and inspections to ensure system readiness and reliability Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and service documentation Respond to generator alarms and service calls as needed, including occasional on-call assignments Travel to job sites throughout your assigned region Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines while working in the field Who You Are 2+ years of generator, diesel, electrical, or mechanical maintenance experience Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems Comfortable working independently in field environments Willing and able to travel regularly within your region Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship Preferred: Telecom, generator, diesel, or industrial equipment experience Familiarity with FCC, FAA, EPA, or OSHA standards Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is a field-based role working at telecom and infrastructure sites.
