This work is done in compliance with the procedures defined by the client and in conformance with company procedures. His/her duties involve daily communication and interaction with drivers and clients. He/she must also organize and conduct activities to assure safe, cost-effective, on-time operating performance. Tracks and reports sign-in/sign-out times, assures routes are timely, and communicates service issues to the Dispatch Supervisors or Dispatch Managers as appropriate.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Takes client calls and communicates issues with drivers and Dispatch Supervisors or Dispatch Managers as appropriate. </li>\n <li>Monitors radio, telephones and on-road provision of service for quality. </li>\n <li>Responsible for influencing positive employee morale and quality customer service. </li>\n <li>Monitors and completes driver sign-in and sign-out daily. </li>\n <li>May assign trips to drivers to assure adequate disbursement of trips between all assigned routes. </li>\n <li>Monitors daily system performance. </li>\n <li>Participates in analysis and review of operating performance. </li>\n <li>Notes closed and/or late starting of routes and communicates same to Dispatch Supervisors and/or Dispatch Managers as appropriate. </li>\n <li>All other duties, as assigned.   </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Talent Requirements:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>One (1) year previous Dispatcher experience preferred.  </li>\n <li>Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred. </li>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent.  </li>\n <li>Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast pace environment. </li>\n <li>Demonstrate a high customer service commitment. </li>\n <li>Able to demonstrate professional phone manner. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of the service area is a plus. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Starting pay rate: $22.50/hour</p>\n<p>Healthcare Benefits: PPO Medical, Medical HSA, Prescription, Dental, Vision (spouse and dependent children), Telemedicine, FSA, Life, AD&D, Group Accident, LTD, STD, EAP, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Substance Abuse Professionals programming</p>\n<p>Effective October 1, 2026, bargaining unit employees assigned to the CPS contract shall receive an annual stipend of one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00) for vision insurance under the Teamsters Vision Plan.
