    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.46.11/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><div><div><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.15.19/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div><strong>Pipeline - Heavy Equipment Operator<br><br></strong><strong>Salary/Hourly (DOE) : $24 - $30 plus Per Diem&nbsp;</strong><strong><br><br>Summary/Objective:&nbsp;</strong>The Pipeline Equipment Operator will be responsible for overall daily operation and construction.&nbsp;<p>&nbsp;<strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Comprehensive knowledge&nbsp;of Underground Utility construction and installation.</li><li>Working knowledge of Pipeline safety requirements, applicable standards, rules and regulations, and pass a proficiency exam to demonstrate retention.</li><li>Working knowledge of 811 National Call principles and requirements.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge&nbsp;of excavation hazards and concerns. (Overhead lines, cave ins, adjacent structures, etc.)</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge&nbsp;of load securement practices.</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to complete reporting tickets in a timely and completed fashion</li><li>Willingness to cross train and work among other divisions when needed</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in daily equipment start up, operating equipment, and successfully complete selected/required Operator Qualifications (OQ&rsquo;s)&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in proper excavation practices: Ditches, bell holes, walkouts, sloping and benching.</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to expose and excavate underground utilities according to industry standards, best practices and applicable rules, regulations and OSHA Standards.</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in Material Handling best practices, according to applicable OSHA Standards.</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in daily equipment inspection, cleaning and basic maintenance performance.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Functions:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Must have valid driver&rsquo;s license and meet company insurance standards&nbsp;</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to B&amp;G office.</li><li>Maintain a clean driving record (for drivers)&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to complete all safety requirements of the job.</li><li>Must complete all required paperwork within appropriate time frame</li><li>Conduct themselves in a professional manner&nbsp;always in the execution of their duties.</li><li>Maintains acceptable personal hygiene and professional appearance and is clean shaven daily.</li><li>Required to attend all safety meetings unless approved otherwise by Manager.</li><li>Must be able to maintain the cleanliness of all company equipment and vehicles.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability&nbsp;to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical and fit for duty</li><li>Must have your own housing.</li><li>Work on continuous improvement efforts for self, subordinates, and customers &nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in adhering to Federal, State, Local, Customer and all company Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><p>The company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work outside in all weather conditions. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, cold weather, extreme heat, sustained noisy environment and vibration.</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><p>Must be physically able to climb stairs, sit, stand, walk, carry, push, and lift up to 75 lbs., pulling, kneeling, bending, twisting, repetitive wrist and hand movements for extended periods of time, and perform numerous tasks that require physical agility and manual dexterity as well as mental acuity throughout shift.</p><p><strong>Position type and expected hours of work:</strong></p><p>Must be flexible. The typical schedule is M-Sat.
