This allows the finisher to be able to meet customer and company expectations. </p><p>Requirements</p><p>  </p><h3>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Read job tickets provided with each job</li><li>Understand customers and company’s specifications to ensure that all jobs meet production standards, this includes shipping (FedEx and UPS), delivery, and will call protocols</li><li>Follow WIP  (Work in progress) and work with Production assistant as well as finishing Lead.</li><li>Count, package and create labels, according to department standards</li><li>Work hand in hand with QC team to ensure that work meets all standards</li><li>Notify Production Manager about finished product that does not meet customer standards and that needs to be rejected or passed</li><li>Document and maintain a log of issues encountered in order to improve the production flow and the success of meeting standards</li><li>Continue improvement of packing knowledge, by understanding client’s requests and specifications</li><li>Reports to Production manager and must work hand in hand with, Production Assistant, QC Associates, and Finishing Lead.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications – Education, Experience, License/Certifications:</h3><p>· High School Diploma/GED equivalent required</p><p>· Computer skills, including MS and Excel office</p><p><br/></p><h3>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</h3><p>· Strong communication skills in English and Spanish a plus</p><p>· Be able to adjust to different work environments and work under pressure when necessary</p><p>· Previous packaging knowledge preferable </p><p>  </p><h3>Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li><strong>Lifting/Carrying:</strong> Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently, as required when moving packaged items, materials, or finished products for shipment or delivery.</li><li><strong>Manual Dexterity:</strong> Frequent use of hands for tasks such as packaging, labeling, counting items, and operating packaging equipment.</li><li><strong>Standing/Walking:</strong> Must be able to stand or walk for long periods, particularly during packaging and shipping activities.
