The purpose of this job is to plan, schedule, order, and monitor materials, machines, and labor to ensure that customer demands are met in the most cost-effective manner possible</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of material through the Production cycle.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide lead time to sales department.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Determines quantity and order date for raw materials to meet production demands.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">May be involved in selecting and negotiating with approved vendors.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Order pre-production outside services.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitors and analyzes inventory levels and works to resolve inventory discrepancies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develops forecasts for raw materials.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides all procurement activities including contract negotiations, issuing of purchase orders for goods and services, and vendor approvals and evaluations, as required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Instrumental in bringing new vendors and products to the company in an effort to reduce cost and/or improve quality.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works closely with engineering in developing new products.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs audits of existing vendor base.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists in resolving inventory and quality issues with procured product as they arise.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs other duties and tasks as assigned</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Job Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School diploma or equivalent required; technical school degree preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1+ year of experience working in a buyer/planner role</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage multiple tasks and objectives</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-motivated, organized, and independent worker with the ability to work related deadlines</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to provide leadership and integration to organization</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to learn, convey, and expand company objectives</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to manage and maintain confidential information</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to foster effective work relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of organizational methods and the ability to manage multiple projects</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comfortable using the computer including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Desire to take advantage of an opportunity with great growth potential</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to assist in any areas as requested by management</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Benefits</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Pivotal Health Solutions offers a complete benefits package including 401K, paid time off, paid holidays and healthcare benefits.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
