Total Fire Protection believes that <strong data-gid=\"20226\"><em data-gid=\"20227\"><u data-gid=\"20228\">Do the Right Thing!</u></em></strong> builds loyalty, trust, and respect because <strong data-gid=\"20229\"><em data-gid=\"20230\"><u data-gid=\"20231\">We Care</u></em></strong> about our team members, our Customers, and our community.</p><p data-gid=\"20232\">&nbsp;</p><p data-gid=\"20233\">Every team member brings their own expertise to Total Fire Protection and is encouraged to make their voice heard. &nbsp;We offer a family-oriented culture of teamwork and encourage continuous learning, a diverse atmosphere, and opportunities for career advancement. &nbsp;</p><p data-gid=\"20234\">&nbsp;</p><p data-gid=\"20235\"><strong data-gid=\"20236\"><u data-gid=\"20237\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul data-gid=\"20238\"><li data-gid=\"20239\">Live Our Values!</li><li data-gid=\"20240\">Understand Total Fire Protection&rsquo;s strategy, business, and growth initiatives.</li><li data-gid=\"20241\">Possesses the knowledge that is relevant to interpret the servicing and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems.</li><li data-gid=\"20242\">Ability to provide a proficient ability to identify and restore system trouble conditions, understanding all code requirements, manufacturer&rsquo;s specifications, and the general standards of customer service practice.&nbsp;</li><li data-gid=\"20243\">Ability to conduct site surveys, system inspections and identify deficiencies as necessary and the ability to write service tickets as required.&nbsp;</li><li data-gid=\"20244\">Knowledge as it applies to corresponding systems, including but not limited to, Fire Alarm and relevant detection and notification systems.&nbsp;</li><li data-gid=\"20245\">Must be familiar with NFPA 72, including recent updates, and the intent of the code.&nbsp;</li><li data-gid=\"20246\">Familiar with NYC and Long Island local building codes and their fire alarm code requirements</li><li data-gid=\"20247\">Has general knowledge of fire systems, including fire detection, mass notification, fire dynamics, smoke management, egress codes, and egress systems.&nbsp;</li><li data-gid=\"20248\">Possesses general knowledge of fire alarm system installations for varied applications</li><li data-gid=\"20249\">Candidate should be able to orally communicate technical issues to supervisors, managers, project engineers, contractors, and field technicians as well as people with a nontechnical background.</li><li data-gid=\"20250\">Candidate must possess writing skills, capable of writing reports, and facilitating effective internal and external communication.</li></ul><p data-gid=\"20251\"><strong data-gid=\"20252\"><u data-gid=\"20253\">&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p data-gid=\"20254\"><strong data-gid=\"20255\"><u data-gid=\"20256\">Required Skills and Experience:</u></strong></p><ul data-gid=\"20257\"><li data-gid=\"20258\">Five (5)&nbsp;+ years of experience in Fire Alarm Service-related work.&nbsp;</li><li data-gid=\"20259\">Five (5) + years proven experience in Fire Alarm Systems, both conventional and addressable types.</li><li data-gid=\"20260\">Knowledge of interior and exterior wiring and the repair of electrical equipment and circuits.</li><li data-gid=\"20261\">Five (5) years of experience in servicing low voltage electrical systems, including but not limited to Fire/Life Safety systems, Security, CCTV, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.</li><li data-gid=\"20262\">Certifications (preferred) are to include but are not limited to NICET certification in Fire Alarm; Manufacturer&rsquo;s Programming Certifications; FDNY S98 Certificate of Fitness.</li><li data-gid=\"20263\">Collaborates and provides support to TFP team members as well as clients, includes interfacing with Building/Fire Officials and contractors as necessary.&nbsp;</li><li data-gid=\"20264\">Excellent Electrical Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Skills. &nbsp;</li><li data-gid=\"20265\">Computer fluency in Windows, Excel, and in all other Microsoft products.</li><li data-gid=\"20266\">Possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license and driving record that meets company requirements.</li><li data-gid=\"20267\">Ability to travel depending on assigned geographic location.</li><li data-gid=\"20268\">Ability to be available for Emergency On-Call Services as needed.</li></ul><p data-gid=\"20269\">&nbsp;</p><p data-gid=\"20270\">Think you have what it takes to be a Total Fire Protection team member?
