Discover how your skills and dedication can make a real difference to us.</p>\n<h2>About this Role</h2>\n<p>NorthStar Energy Services is seeking an experienced <strong>Senior Estimator</strong> to join our team in the <strong>Channelview, TX</strong> office. This role will support estimating efforts for industrial projects within the Oil & Gas midstream and downstream sectors, with a strong emphasis on mechanical and piping scopes, as well as civil and structural work.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Senior Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for EPC and design-build projects. This position requires a deep understanding of industrial construction methods, material takeoffs, labor productivity, and cost controls.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical construction scopes, with primary emphasis on piping and mechanical systems</li>\n <li>Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing using Trimble Accubid and Microsoft Excel</li>\n <li>Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate and complete estimates</li>\n <li>Collaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to validate assumptions and execution strategies</li>\n <li>Develop pricing for lump sum, unit rate, and time-and-materials proposals</li>\n <li>Develop construction schedules in Microsoft Project</li>\n <li>Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes, ensuring alignment with project scope and estimating standards</li>\n <li>Identify project risks, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities</li>\n <li>Support bid reviews, estimate reconciliations, and post-bid handoff meetings</li>\n <li>Maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and productivity benchmarks</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
