The successful candidate will drive innovation and deliver excellence in a fast-paced, international environment. He will collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide, contributing to groundbreaking projects with career opportunities within a truly global organization.</p><p><i> </i></p><p>The hired person will be involved in <b>Finance and Accounting activities for the French entities of the Avnet Group</b>. Our new team member will be someone with proven experience in <b>finance, asset,</b> and <b>payment processes. SAP </b>experience is considered an advantage.<br /> </p><p><b>What You&#39;ll Be Doing:</b></p><ul><li><p>Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the companies</p></li><li><p>Overview the automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, AP</p></li><li><p>Non-Trade Accounts payables, prime entries</p></li><li><p>Cash management and reporting, support payment preparation.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and reviewing financial records, including Fixed Assets Ledger, payroll postings, month end closing accruals</p></li><li><p>Intercompany and bank reconciliation.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the integrity of accounting information by verifying and recording transactions</p></li><li><p>General accounting, VAT return, in liaison with local tax and legal consultants ensuring correct calculation of monthly VAT and correct calculation of the taxable income; VAT reports, Journal Book, and other indirect tax returns.</p></li><li><p>Interact directly with the auditors to discuss and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner</p></li><li><p>Maintain strong knowledge of accounting and finance practices</p></li><li><p>Continuous improvement of processes and controls.</p></li><li><p>Support on ad hoc projects</p></li><li><p>Enhancing the tools and processes.</p></li></ul><p><br /><b>The Ideal Person:</b></p><ul><li><p>Proven experience in a Finance and Accounting roles</p></li><li><p>Fluent in English, Italian, and French.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of <span>4</span> years of experience in general and tax accounting.</p></li><li><p>Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standards.</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail and accuracy, reliability, and curiosity</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving skills</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal as well as written communication skills</p></li><li><p>Advanced knowledge of excel and SAP.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with French Gaap and French laws and regulations will be considered an advantage.<br /> </p></li></ul><p><b>What&#39;s In It For You:</b></p><ul><li><p>Autonomy to innovate and deliver new approaches that impact the bottom and the top line</p></li><li><p>Grow and collaborate across an extensive network outside of the Group in a fast-pace environment</p></li><li><p>Being surrounded by inspiring and diverse talent across many different sectors</p></li><li><p>LinkedIn Learning license</p></li><li><p>Learn from people and cooperate with a wide variety of professional backgrounds</p></li><li><p>Ability to develop new skills and opportunities through lateral, geographical or functional moves</p></li><li><p>Full time and permanent employment.</p></li></ul><p>#LI-AVNET<br />#LI-EMEA</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><span>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
