We are passionate about creating a fun, clean, and secure environment for every dog in our care while delivering outstanding service to pet parents.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking dependable, energetic, and compassionate Dog Handlers to join our Resort Operations team. In this hands-on role, you will supervise dog playgroups, ensure safe social interactions, provide enrichment activities, monitor canine health and behavior, and maintain a clean and organized facility.</p>\n<p>This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, loves dogs of all sizes and personalities, and is committed to providing exceptional animal care.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise structured dog playgroups and monitor behavior to ensure safe interactions.</li>\n<li>Use positive reinforcement and proper handling techniques to support healthy play and socialization.</li>\n<li>Observe dogs for signs of stress, illness, injury, or fatigue and report concerns promptly.</li>\n<li>Provide individualized care including feeding, enrichment, medication administration, and kennel support.</li>\n<li>Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, equipment, and common spaces.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate care, feeding, and behavior records.</li>\n<li>Communicate professionally with team members and pet parents.</li>\n<li>Follow all company safety, sanitation, and animal care procedures.</li>\n<li>Assist with additional operational duties as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels.</li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain physically active throughout shifts.</li>\n<li>Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.</li>\n<li>Strong communication and customer service abilities.</li>\n<li>Comfortable using computers and mobile software systems.</li>\n<li>Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in dog daycare, boarding, grooming, training, veterinary, rescue, or related animal care environments.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of canine behavior and enrichment techniques.</li>\n<li>Pet First Aid and/or CPR certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Schedule</span></p>\n<p>Typical shifts may include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>5:00 AM – 1:00 PM</li>\n<li>1:00 PM – 9:00 PM</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Flexible scheduling available for both full-time and part-time team members.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Work Environment</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fast-paced and physically active environment.</li>\n<li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and cleaning.</li>\n<li>Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, cleaning products, and wet environments.</li>\n<li>Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Compensation &amp; Benefits</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Full-Time Team Members Eligible For:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive hourly pay</li>\n<li>Medical benefits</li>\n<li>401(k) program</li>\n<li>Paid leave</li>\n<li>Paid training and development opportunities</li>\n<li>Advancement opportunities</li>\n<li>Bring your dog to work perk</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Why Join Best Friends Fur-Ever?</span></p>\n<p>At Best Friends Fur-Ever, we believe our team creates the experience for every pet and pet parent.
