    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Are you a skilled Cloud Engineer ready to architect, secure, and scale the infrastructure powering cardiac diagnostics for patients across Australia and the globe?</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Camberwell (4 days on-site)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p>We're looking for a hands-on AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and secure CardioScan's cloud infrastructure. You'll ensure our systems are highly available, scalable, and performant - playing a critical role in keeping the technology backbone running that delivers life-changing cardiac insights to over 800,000 patients each year.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate brings strong AWS expertise, solid networking fundamentals, and a security-first mindset, with FortiGate experience and automation skills considered a real advantage.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure across EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudFront</li>\n<li>Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tooling, with a focus on cost, performance, and scalability</li>\n<li>Implement AWS security best practices including IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, GuardDuty, and Security Hub</li>\n<li>Design and manage AWS network architecture — VPCs, subnets, VPNs, load balancers, and hybrid connectivity</li>\n<li>Administer FortiGate firewalls including policies, IPSec VPNs, and threat protection</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain automation workflows to support CI/CD pipelines, provisioning, and operational efficiency</li>\n<li>Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, including ACM and renewal automation</li>\n<li>Implement monitoring and alerting via CloudWatch and external tools; lead incident response and root cause analysis</li>\n<li>Design and oversee backup strategies and disaster recovery planning (RTO/RPO, cross-region replication, failover)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About You</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must Haves:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of hands-on AWS experience with strong knowledge of AWS architecture and services</li>\n<li>Proven experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation</li>\n<li>Solid networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, and firewall management</li>\n<li>Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell</li>\n<li>Experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments</li>\n<li>A clear understanding of cloud security principles and compliance practices</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences</li>\n<li>The ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>A security-first mindset with strong attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Nice to Have:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with FortiGate / Fortinet firewalls</li>\n<li>Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools such as n8n, Zapier, or scripting-heavy environments</li>\n<li>Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container platforms</li>\n<li>AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or Security Specialty)</li>\n<li>Background in the healthcare industry</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What's in it for you?</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A high-growth, global HealthTech business where your infrastructure work directly supports patient outcomes</li>\n<li>Exposure to healthcare, clinical workflows, and cutting-edge diagnostic technology at scale</li>\n<li>Clear pathway to grow into senior cloud, architecture, or security-focused roles over time</li>\n<li>A collaborative, cross-functional environment working with clinical, operations, and technology teams</li>\n<li>A high-trust culture with strong autonomy and a focus on outcomes</li>\n<li>A refurbished Camberwell office close to cafes, transport, and parking</li>\n<li>Birthday leave, Global Reward &amp; Recognition Program, EAP access, and referral bonuses</li>\n<li>A business expanding into new countries each year — with genuine career progression</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About CardioScan</span></p>\n<p>CardioScan is a global leader in cardiac diagnostics, operating across Australia, New Zealand, the US, Asia, and Europe.
