    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Pay:</strong> $33.00 - $37.00 <strong>(DOE)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> 130 Calo Lane, Lake Ozark, MO 65049</p>\n<p> </p>\n<strong>Part-Time | 7 AM–7 PM | Two shifts per week</strong>\n<strong>Weekend shift required</strong>Additional shifts may become available based on call‑ins or vacation coverage\n<p> </p>\n<p>Calo is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated <strong>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)</strong> or <strong>Registered Nurse (RN)</strong> to join our multidisciplinary team. The nurse plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our preadolescent and adolescent students. This position supports high-quality nursing care, ensures regulatory compliance, and contributes to a positive and healthy program culture.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical‑thinking skills, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for the students we serve</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide direct nursing care following Calo standards and SOPs.</li>\n <li>Administer medications safely and accurately.</li>\n <li>Triage and treat illnesses and injuries within scope of practice.</li>\n <li>Follow infection control protocols and respond to infectious diseases.</li>\n <li>Complete all documentation in BestNotes by end of shift.</li>\n <li>Perform waived testing, phlebotomy, and basic nursing procedures.</li>\n <li>Process physician orders and maintain student health compliance.</li>\n <li>Support and guide unlicensed nursing staff.</li>\n <li>Maintain healthy boundaries and positive relationships with students and staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 21 years of age </li>\n <li>Ability to pass criminal background check </li>\n <li>Free of communicable disease, other evidence of ill health, or a condition which adversely affects ability to care for or poses a threat to children </li>\n <li>Experience – Psychiatric or residential nursing experience preferred.   </li>\n <li>Education – Current Missouri or compact state license (in good standing as an LPN or RN.
