As a core team member, you will be interacting with other electric utility disciplines, playing a valuable part in performing field inspections, engineering design work and calculations. As a part of this work, you&rsquo;ll be coordinating with permit agencies, right-of-way specialists, system owners, field leaders, forestry leaders, and 3rd party owners for joint-owned poles.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Additionally, you will provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met, as well as conducting root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles and design. You&rsquo;ll engage with technical design and Client standards, ensuring quality and timeliness of design deliverables to QAQC.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities will include:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Review work provided by Client and assess requirements of scopes.</li><li>Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles and design.</li><li>Travel to sites as needed, perform inspections and return to the office to perform engineering design work; about 80% of your time will be spent traveling locally and regionally, collecting field data that will assist in the development of electrical design work packages</li></ul><p><br> <strong>Background Requirements:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School diploma or equivalent is required; Associates Degree or higher in engineering technology or related is preferred</li><li>Willingness to perform both field and office work</li><li>Written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work in outdoor environments, as some field work could be required</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)</li><li>Power/Utilities experience is preferred</li><li>Previous experience with field data collection is preferred</li><li>This role requires a valid US driver&#39;s license as local and regional travel is required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Professional Attributes that will help you succeed in this role:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Collaborative attitude and inclusivity of individuals of diverse backgrounds and geographic locations.</li><li>Ability to work with limited supervision</li><li>Positive attitude</li><li>Professional dress and demeanor</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
