Consider joining our team and work with peers who have vast industry knowledge and experience solving complex problems. </p>\n<strong> </strong>\n<strong>Step into Your New Role</strong>\n<strong>Kleinfelder is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Pipeline Project Engineer to join our Energy team in Detroit, </strong>\n<strong>MI.</strong> Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued attributes for this position. The project work will be \n<strong>multi-disciplinary</strong> in nature, but experience in utility pipeline with knowledge of pipeline, geotechnical (including trenchless design) and civil engineering is preferred.  This is a hybrid work schedule! \n<strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Effectively manages all phases of project delivery including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, invoicing and closing.</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains client relationships. </li>\n <li>Works effectively with project support staff to monitor and control project to achieve financial target metrics for all projects. </li>\n <li>Effectively communicates technical information to practitioners, clients and laypersons. </li>\n <li>Mentors and coaches project team members and provide constructive feedback on team member performance.</li>\n <li>Executes project to meet or exceed client expectations while meeting industry standard of care. </li>\n <li>Follows and adheres to all federal and state regulations, client requirements and contracts, and company policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Maintains and drives the Kleinfelder culture of safety.</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Required Education/Certification</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science Degree</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE)</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 10 years of related pipeline experience</li>\n <li>Working understanding of pipeline standards and industry accepted practices.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Natural Gas and Hazardous Liquids systems including engineering design and construction.</li>\n <li>Computer skills required: MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), AutoCAD 3D</li>\n <li>Experience in the planning, design, engineering of natural gas pipelines, both distribution and transmission, is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p>  </p>\n<strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder</strong>\n<p>Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
