    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>This position is a 0.6 Art Teacher at Jamestown Elementary School.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.</li><li>Must be endorsed in Visual Arts.</li><li>Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Teaching experience in the above mentioned area.</li><li>Knowledge of best instructional practices.</li><li>Ability to integrate technology.</li><li>Experience in educational and instructional leadership.</li><li>Dual endorsed preferred.</li><li>Bilingual skills preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work as part of a team</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and community members</li><li>Prepare art students for in school, and outside opportunities.</li><li>Provide effective communications between and among school staff, Arts Education Supervisor, students, parents<br>and community.</li><li>Flexible, dependable, and highly organized.</li><li>Desire to work with diverse community of learners.</li><li>Work effectively with fine arts team and theater productions.</li><li>Effectively maintain Visual arts website.</li><li>Provide outreach opportunities to grow quality program.</li><li>Must be team oriented and able to work cohesively with others and meet timelines.</li><li>Must be organized with excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Maintain safety standards and best practices in art rooms.</li><li>Stay current with arts related technology and best practices.</li><li>Participate in Scholastics, Ed.
