This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality materials to support plant operations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage the procurement of cement, raw materials, equipment, and operational supplies in alignment with plant requirements.</li>\n <li>Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.</li>\n <li>Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure continuous and reliable supply.</li>\n <li>Track and analyze market trends, material costs, and supplier capabilities to inform purchasing strategies.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with operations, finance, and inventory management teams to ensure materials meet production needs.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures that align with company objectives and industry standards.</li>\n <li>Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.</li>\n <li>Assist in resolving any supply chain issues, delays, or discrepancies with vendors.</li>\n <li>Evaluate opportunities for cost savings, supplier diversification, and process improvement in procurement.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the cement, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing industry.</li>\n <li>Strong negotiation and contract management skills.</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency in SAP (S/4HANA, SAP MM), DataStream, and other ERP platforms.</li>\n <li>Experience with business intelligence reporting tools (Tableau, DOMO, SAP BW/BI) preferred.</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and supplier sourcing strategies.</li>\n</ul>",
