This role is critical in leading optimizing procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost- effectiveness in a rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape. You will lead a team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and drive strategies for process improvements and vendor relations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we need you to do:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, mentor, and develop the global Purchasing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.</li>\n<li>Responsible for entire stock/airtime management and purchasing processes, ensuring best value for the company through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiation.</li>\n<li>Monitor stock levels and coordinate processes to prevent stock outs or over purchasing.</li>\n<li>Ensuring continuity and reconciliation of stock balances and transaction data, Investigating and resolving variances.</li>\n<li>Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align purchasing strategies.</li>\n<li>Responsible for preparing and reporting on monthly stock analysis to Senior Management.</li>\n<li>Lead ad hoc purchasing analysis and projects as required.</li>\n<li>Maintain close relationships with external (suppliers) stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Optimise operational processes to increase efficiency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we are looking for:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management with a minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory role, managing a team.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Supply Chain Management, or related field.</li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communications skills</li>\n<li>Position requires routine interaction with staff across the organization and external stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Proven experience and knowledge of stock planning, forecasting and optimization.</li>\n<li>Related industry experience a plus (telecommunications, mobile operator).</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to succeed in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.</li>\n<li>Strong leadership and team management abilities.</li>\n<li>Ability to synthesize large amounts of financial data with the highest degree of accuracy.</li>\n<li>Advanced excel skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ding is committed to creating equal employment opportunities in the workplace.
