This person must possess a deep knowledge of construction equipment repair processes and dispatch organizational skills. Customer relations and customer satisfaction are also key ingredients of the job.   </strong></p>\n<h2>Basic Duties</h2>\n<p>The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for all field service activity in their territory. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote safe work practices, conduct safety inspections on fleet vehicles and adhere to current company safety policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Provide leadership and direction as required to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction, employee engagement and profitability</li>\n <li>Exemplify our Corporate Values consisting of Safety, Honesty, Humility, Integrity, Teamwork and Compassion</li>\n <li>Conduct regular meetings to coordinate activities, provide guidance, gather information and communicate company strategy</li>\n <li>Manage work-flow and scheduling to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and shop efficiency</li>\n <li>Manage service, repair and reconditioning of machines and components in the field.</li>\n <li>Manage field service customer communications</li>\n <li>Manage the work order process from opening jobs through job invoicing</li>\n <li>Develop quotes for complex jobs and quote approvals</li>\n <li>Effectively manage all Work In Progress (WIP) and technician labor</li>\n <li>Conduct semi-annual performance reviews for all direct reports</li>\n <li>Ensure operations conform to industry and company performance metrics and benchmarks</li>\n <li>Occasionally participate in sales calls with Sales Reps. </li>\n <li>Partner with facility in-house Service Department</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>5 years experience as a service technician in the heavy equipment field or related fields, military, or diesel technology trade degree</li>\n <li>Minimum of at least two years demonstrated previous management and/or leadership experience</li>\n <li>Advanced user of all Microsoft Office products to include Excel</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Caterpillar programs, DBSi, SIMS 2 and PSEL a plus</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of DSI dispatch system a plus </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>      Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>Ability to understand, interpret and leverage performance metrics related to efficiency, productivity, profitability, safety, marketshare, resource deployment and general operations.</li>\n  <li>Exceptional communication, management, leadership and interpersonal skills</li>\n  <li><p>Working knowledge of MSHA, OSHA and EPA regulations as they relate to the industry</p></li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disabled/Vets</strong></p>\n<p><strong>PM16</strong></p>\n<h2>Posted Min</h2>USD $75,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Posted Max</h2>USD $85,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Physical Requirements/Working Conditions</h2>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS</strong>:</p>\n<p>Place cooresponding letter next to each category. “C” Constantly (6-8 hrs/day)</p>\n<p>“F” Frequently (3-6 hrs/day), “O” Occasionally (up to 3hrs/day) or NA if not applicable.
