    "description": "<p>Assist Ambulance is looking for new and experienced Paramedics to join us full-time and part-time at our Bronx base! Assist is a New York City EMS agency offering a full range of emergency medical and transportation services throughout the five boroughs. Assist has a proud 30 year history of providing these services to the diverse and vibrant communities of NYC. Assist Ambulance offers Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support via emergency and non-emergency ambulance transports for various hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, doctor's offices, and community-based organizations. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have an active NY State EMT-P card and NYC REMAC - NREMT card is not accepted alone<br>\n<ul>\n<li>Paramedics without any experience are welcome to apply as long as they are fully certified at time of application</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Must be at least 20 years old with 1 years driving experience in New York City</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a valid, clean NYS D Class driver’s license\n<ul>\n<li>DJ licenses are not accepted</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be physically fit to lift 125 lbs. in accordance with the NYS DOH and pass a lifting assessment</li>\n<li>Must be able to get 19A physical clearance and negative PPD test (vouchers provided)</li>\n<li>Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screening</li>\n<li>Must be able to commit to at least two 12-hour shifts per week that are the same days every week (steady shifts)\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>Per diem is not available at this time, only part time or full time steady scheduling</em></span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be good with people and able to act responsibly under extreme duress</li>\n<li><span>Applicants' criminal history will be considered consistent with the requirements of the New York City Fair Chance Act</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Attributes:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Weekly Payday</li>\n<li>Paid Training</li>\n<li>Flexible Scheduling</li>\n<li>Union Shop with 1199 SEIU (contract still being determined)<br></li>\n<li>Paid sick time/PTO<br></li>\n<li>Free uniforms</li>\n<li>8 Hours Pay for staff normally scheduled or working on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, and New Year's Day</li>\n<li>After 90 days, 30+ scheduled hours employees are eligible for health insurance<br></li>\n<li>Paid vacation after first year of employment - increases at three, six and ten years of employment<br></li>\n<li>CME Refresher Program / Voucher</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Up to $4000 back for Paramedic schoo</span>l</li>\n<li>Overtime opportunities</li>\n<li>Large volume of emergency calls<br></li>\n<li>5% annual raises</li>\n</ul>\n<ul></ul>",
