Join us and be part of something extraordinary.</p><p>We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Principal Software Engineer – AI &amp; Cloud Platforms to join our Instruction Capture Technology Team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.</p><p>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Own end-to-end software development strategy across core banking, AI-based automation, digital onboarding, and anomaly detection.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Drive the design and implementation of scalable, high performing and robust applications that leverages Private cloud, Public cloud (Azure/GCP), On-Premises cloud service providers.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Improve our software delivery capabilities via automation and repeatability.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Conducts reviews of the code, test plan and release artifacts.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Develop code using secure coding practices.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Leverage existing products/functionality and promote reusability.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ensure resolution of project issues and conflicting workload priorities and escalate as required.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Provide technical mentorship, leadership and guidance to high-performing engineering teams (onshore/offshore).</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Help the tech management team shape best practices for developing, sharing, and continuously improving our software platform.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Identify and discuss issues with the team that might be overlooked, such as scalability, performance, or security.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop scalable full-stack solutions, and drive technology initiatives that align with business goals.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ensure compliance with the firm’s delivery and regulatory standards.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop scalable full-stack solutions, and drive technology initiatives that align with business goals.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ensure compliance with the firm’s delivery and regulatory standards.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.</span></li></ul><p>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">9+ years of experience in software development is required - proficiency in Java and Front-End UI Technologies.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Proven. Experience in architecting and delivering scalable AI-powered solutions (e.g. NLP, predictive modeling, recommender systems).</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">SOA / API based software development using Java (version 17 and up), Spring Boot, Microservices, REST, JSON.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Real-time data processing, efficient event-driven architecture and seamless system integration using Apache Kafka.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Experience with Database development using Oracle or MS SQL Server.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Experience in automating CI/CD pipelines on large scale container platforms using Docker, Kubernetes.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Experience with unit and end to end automated test cases, JMeter based Performance/Volume Test automation.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Experience with Test Driven Development practices.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Good Exposure on UI Development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and Angular.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Experience with GIT source code control.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and experience with Scrum framework.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a team/collaborative environment.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Experience with Jira for enhancement tracking and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Kibana is a plus.</span></li></ul>",
