The Buyer will contribute to supply chain strategizing, and ensure that project/order objectives are met.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;Essential Functions&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Sourcing and procurement; experience required in purchasing electronic components and commodities (memory/storage/CPU).&nbsp;</li><li>Identification and qualification of potential suppliers.&nbsp;</li><li>Identification of qualified materials using online, internal and external sources.&nbsp;</li><li>Relationship development and management of new and existing suppliers.&nbsp;</li><li>Support customer development activity.&nbsp;</li><li>Market analysis of commodity trends, costs, and target customers.&nbsp;</li><li>Purchase order placement, management and order expediting.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists in the development and implementation of procurement and supply chain strategies.&nbsp;</li><li>Meet objectives and KPIs as directed.&nbsp;</li><li>Special projects as assigned .&nbsp;</li></ul><p>* Please note: This role is based in our Singapore Sales Office.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Core Competencies&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read, write correspondence, and communicate with all members of the organizations, customers, and vendors (internal and external) in a clear, easily understood manner in English&nbsp;</li><li>Strong analytical and negotiation skills; ability to perform intermediate level mathematics such as calculating discounts, percentages, budgets, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience outsourcing new vendors overseas&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment&nbsp;</li><li>Able to work under pressure and effectively manage stress&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving skills&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to respond appropriately and professionally to customers, colleagues, or direct reports in situations of conflict&nbsp;</li><li>Goal-oriented, ambitious, extremely motivated&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Professional demeanor&nbsp;</li><li>Flexibility – overtime may be required evenings and weekends&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>",
