This opportunity is to support our growing emerging contaminant project portfolio and remediation capabilities.&nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <p><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <p>Our services encompass a range of responsibilities aimed at engineering design and optimization support for treatment systems. You will specialize in providing program support for a diverse portfolio of projects underway, catering to both the US Federal Government and industrial clients. &nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <p>You will actively participate in field investigations, sampling activities, pilot programs, and full-scale remedial efforts. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in fostering effective communication by engaging in face-to-face meetings with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders.&nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <p>Responsibilities could include a combination of field and office related tasks and will include periodic travel.&nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <p>These responsibilities may include: &nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Assisting Project Managers (PMs) and Task Managers (TMs) with planning and performing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Civil/Environmental engineering design including land development planning, hydraulic modeling/calculations, erosion and sediment control evaluations and layout, and earthwork site design&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Assist with developing permit/construction-level drawings and details, preparing technical specifications, and construction cost evaluation/estimating&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Prepare subcontracts and oversee the work of subcontractors. &nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Perform fieldwork  with a focus on health and safety and which may include soil, sediment, surface water and/or groundwater sampling, geotechnical investigations, and construction oversight. &nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda &nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <ul>\n   <li>Office work may include task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, cost estimates, health &amp; safety plan preparation, report writing, regulatory file reviews, proposal writing, project strategy development, schedule and budget management, and establishment of subcontracts. &nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <p>The successful candidate will be involved in interpreting and evaluating field and analytical data in order to prepare engineering designs, permit applications, and construction-related documents. Environmental remediation design tasks, including soil and groundwater remedial system and in-situ technology treatment design and assessments are also a part of this exciting role. This position will require travel and field work.&nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <p>In summary, an ideal candidate for the position would have proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, a focus on health and safety, and excellent teambuilding and organizational abilities. These attributes will contribute to their success in the role and enable them to make valuable contributions to projects.  Ideal candidates will also be self-motivated and exhibit independent thinking and have the ability to work successfully and efficiently in a team setting, as well as independently/remotely. &nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <p>Field work will require regional business travel for up to 1-2 days per week on average. A few times per year, travel will be required within the U.S. for up to two weeks at a time. Estimated travel is up to 75% during the first two years, with travel reduced with career growth. By the third year, travel for field work is typically 50%.
