Join us and be a part of a company that&rsquo;s making waves and empowering its people to do extraordinary things every single day!</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Turtle is seeking a talented professional in the Credit Associate role in Deer Park, TX.</p><p><u>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</u></p><ul><li>Contact customers regarding balances due</li><li>Contact customers or salespeople regarding short paid or disputed invoices</li><li>Contact delinquent customers to collect payments &nbsp; Review and address orders on credit hold</li><li>Reduce delinquency and bad debt loss based on periodic credit reviews</li><li>Meet with customers to build relationships and promote better customer service</li><li>Use the lien and bond laws where applicable to help with collections</li><li>Provide support and service for designated branches for credit and collection functions</li><li>Responsible for contacting customers and requesting payment in a timely manner</li><li>Become familiar with tax laws in the applicable states</li><li>Review the aging reports on an ongoing basis</li><li>Make recommendations to restrict accounts when needed</li><li>Ensure credit limits assigned to existing customers are reasonable and supportable</li><li>Plan and maintain a systematic follow up process</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Bring</strong></p><ul><li id=\"isPasted\">Associate&rsquo;s degree preferred. &nbsp;Degree may be substituted for 3 years relevant experience in credit for the construction and industrial equipment industries.</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Solid understanding of root cause analysis and process improvement concepts</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Good negotiation skills</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Strong Microsoft Excel skills</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Highly detail oriented</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Organized and excellent time management skills a must</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Construction or building material knowledge is a plus</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><p>We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>401(k) plan</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Employee negotiated discounts</li></ul><p><strong>Who We Are</strong></p><p>Founded in 1923, Turtle is a fourth-generation, family-owned, and three-generation women-owned business, and one of the nation&rsquo;s largest independent electrical and industrial distributors.
