    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The responsibilities include but are not limited to taking food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and to serve food to the guest according to the resorts food and beverage specifications, courteously and efficiently.  Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of the restaurant area and equipment and providing the highest levels of service and professionalism. Performing all duties and adhering to the Food & Beverage Service Standards.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage outlet operations including foods, beverages, service techniques, and guest interaction.</li>\n <li>Be familiar with all the resorts services/features and local attractions in order to assist the guest</li>\n <li>Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness and maintain positive guest relations at all times</li>\n <li>Anticipate the guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests; resolve guests’ complaints and ensure guest satisfaction</li>\n <li>Take guest food & beverage orders utilizing suggestive up selling techniques</li>\n <li>Answers guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner</li>\n <li>Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards</li>\n <li>Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Remove soiled wares from tables and transport to designated area</li>\n <li>Present guests check and process payments. Adhere to cash handling and credit policies/procedures. Balance cash receipts</li>\n <li>Clean and reset table as soon as guest departs</li>\n <li>Develops relationships with guests</li>\n <li>Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction</li>\n <li>Maintains professional relationships with all co-workers</li>\n <li>Resolve guest complaints and concerns to ensure guest satisfaction</li>\n <li>Answer outlet phone using correct greeting and telephone etiquette</li>\n <li>Follows checklists and standard operating procedures.</li>\n <li>Prepares work area for either, opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.</li>\n <li>Complete side work during non-busy hours</li>\n <li>Responsible and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas and proper food handling</li>\n <li>Maintains a professional appearance at all times</li>\n <li>Maintain complete knowledge of all food & beverage menu items, including liquor brands, beers, nonalcoholic selections available </li>\n <li>Maintains complete knowledge of and comply with all department policies/service procedures and standards</li>\n <li>Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards</li>\n <li>Maintain complete knowledge of and STRICKLY abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated guests and drunk driving</li>\n <li>Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons</li>\n <li>Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hotel & Resort from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position</li>\n <li>Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services</li>\n <li>Performs related tasks and functions as requested by manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p>In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of additional supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of three (3) months of experience at a high-end resort, hotel, or private club required. </li>\n <li>Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in diverse team environment</li>\n <li>Must be able to work a schedule that will include holidays, weekends, and varied shift times</li>\n <li>Must be a service minded individual with a positive attitude who truly enjoys helping others</li>\n <li>Must be computer literate.</li>\n <li>Successful applicant will pass pre-employment background check.</li>\n</ul>",
