We provide civil/site design and land surveying, environmental, <strong><em><u>geotechnical</u></em>,</strong> construction administration &amp; inspection, accident reconstruction, roofing/building envelope, A/V system design, troubleshooting &amp; installation, transportation design (bridge/roadway), and specialized testing services to the construction industry.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">We are looking for a <strong>Geotechnical Engineer</strong> (<strong>EIT or PE</strong>) who&nbsp;will play a key role in performing geotechnical explorations and investigations for our clients. You&rsquo;ll leverage your expertise and creative problem-solving skills while collaborating closely with institutions/municipal agencies, Architects, Engineers, Developers, and project teams to deliver customized geotechnical studies, reports, and solutions. generally within a 60-90 mile radius of the Shelbyville/east Louisville office.&nbsp;<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>This role will be at least 30-40% in the field, so some overnight travel (a couple of nights a month) is very normal/to be expected.</li><li>A company vehicle can be provided or reimbursement for personal vehicle use.&nbsp;</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This role will be based out of our Shelbyville (east Louisville) office.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performing geotechnical explorations, site characterizations, and risk evaluation on developments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Training and supervision of lab technicians (based on experience), maintenance of quality reviews and certifications, management of equipment inventory and calibration, client marketing and proposal preparation.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work independently on broad projects with oversight/supervision by the Service Line Manager.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Providing direction on a project-to-project basis &ndash;
