The responsibilities include utilizing the Package Level Detail system to verify items and quantities against orders, prepare orders for shipment and assist with picking orders as needed.</p><p><strong>Job Level:</strong></p><p>Entry Level</p><p><strong>Essential Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform packing tasks assigned by Supervisor, i.e., repack primary LTL packaging, rod packing, and SDQ processing.</li><li>Perform variance checks utilizing the Package Level Detail system.</li><li>Read orders for packing information and special instructions and pack accordingly.</li><li>Coordinate staging process utilizing RF process.</li><li>Adhere to customer requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform additional responsibilities directed by Supervisor.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Computer literate - AS400 knowledge and experience.</li><li>Forklift operations.</li><li>Lift 10-50 lbs. repetitively.</li><li>Must have good hand/eye coordination.</li><li>Must enjoy working as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to pay attention to details.</li><li>Ability to match and verify product information accurately.</li><li>Ability to work in other areas as necessary.</li><li>Ability to work overtime as business requires.</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and do basic mathematics. &nbsp; Understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety, work instructions, policies, etc.</li></ul><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>High school diploma or degree preferred.</p><p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></p><p><strong>Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Approximately 100% of the time performing job duties is spent indoors in a warehouse with limited heating or air conditioning.&nbsp;</li><li>The temperature of the work environment, when in the office, is moderate.</li><li>The temperature of the work environment in the warehouse may equal to the outside temperatures of the area.&nbsp;</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to the risk of electric shock.</li><li>Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><ul><li>Frequently lift from overhead or below the waist&nbsp;</li><li>Occasionally &nbsp;bend, twist, push, pull, climb, squat, crawl, kneel</li><li>Frequently reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stand and walk; grasp with hands and fingers; and lift (up to 50 lbs.)</li><li>Continuously sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and key (i.e., computer, calculator, telephone).</li></ul><p><strong>Machines, Tools and Equipment</strong></p><ul><li>Frequently use copier, fax, and 10-key calculator</li><li>Continuously use writing instruments, computer and telephone</li><li>Continuously use Standup reach, propane sit-down, and picking lift forklifts</li></ul><p><em>NOTE: &nbsp;This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
