By upholding responsible service practices and delivering warm, attentive interactions, you help foster a welcoming atmosphere that elevates the overall gaming and dining experience and reinforces the excellence of the Live! brand.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: $6.39/hr + tips!</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications.</li>\n <li>Guiding guests through menu and drink options as well as Casino and hotel offerings.</li>\n <li>Taking orders from guests and returning these orders accurately and in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Keep area clean and orderly.</li>\n <li>Providing friendly and attentive service.</li>\n <li>Handling all cash transactions.</li>\n <li>Opening and closing inventories of all stock.</li>\n <li>Retaining knowledge of company policy and procedure regarding guest limitations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Customer service.</li>\n <li>POS (point of sales) Software operating experience.</li>\n <li>Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude.</li>\n <li>Ability to read write and understand basic instructions.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of all bar equipment, Easy Bar System, ABC laws and regulations.</li>\n <li>Able to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate with all departments and other team members.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.</li>\n <li>Flexible schedule</li>\n <li>Working in a team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.</li>\n <li>Six months to one year experience as a bartender.</li>\n <li>Obtain and maintain an Alcohol Beverage Control card, and any applicable health certificates.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.</li>\n <li>Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels.</li>\n <li>Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
