          "text": "<p><strong>Ingram Marine Group</strong> is seeking an <strong>Electrician&#xa0;</strong>to join our team in <strong>Paducah, KY.</strong>&#xa0;This person will be responsible for electrical systems maintenance for running vessels, overhauling and repowering vessels. They will interact with vessel associates, and external vendors to install electronic throttles, alarm systems, steering systems, and other electrical repairs with focus on Zero Harm</p><p><strong>What you'll be doing:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Working hands on with Ingram associates and vendors during the overhaul process</li><li>Installing&#xa0;electrical systems onboard vessels in accordance with Subchapter M regulations</li><li>Maintaining knowledge of current and new technologies</li><li>Calibrating, testing, inspecting, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic devices (PLCs, transmitters, controllers etc.)</li><li>Assisting in the design, engineering, and procurement of electrical equipment and instrumentation systems</li><li>Developing procedures and documentation for USCG approval for equipment upgrades for vessels per Subchapter M regulations</li><li>Attending&#xa0;routine staff, overhaul, ISAFE &amp; project progress meetings as required</li><li>Communicating&#xa0;needs for projects and overhauls/supervising&#xa0;daily shore side repairs</li><li>Assisting&#xa0;Chief Engineers with “hands on” maintenance and repair tasks during overhaul</li><li>Assisting&#xa0;Chief Engineers with on board maintenance procedures during overhaul</li><li>Completing records&#xa0;and other documents from repairs</li><li>Performing&#xa0;special technical assignments as directed by the Manager of Electrical Projects</li><li>Possessing a high level of marine electrical knowledge with focus on Zero Harm and safety</li><li>Assuring&#xa0;essential documentation from vessel repairs are maintained</li><li>Supporting department activities with regular and prompt attendance</li><li>Working hands on with training of chief and junior engineers</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>A high level of knowledge of the vessels and vessel systems is required for this position.</li><li>Exceptional people skills are also required prior to, during, and after the projects to assure customer satisfaction is maintained at a high level.</li><li>Ability to work with indirect reports, vendors, and processes across multiple areas</li><li>Must be able to organize and prioritize large amounts of information and use information to align with customer service, operations, and engineering regulatory and company specifications.</li><li>Should possess the ability to cross functionally work with multiple department representatives to achieve common goals.</li><li>A high level of knowledge of PLCs, AC and DC controls and systems is required.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED&#xa0;</li><li>3-5 years as a marine electrician</li><li>NFPA 70E certification or the ability to obtain&#xa0;</li><li>Valid TWIC Card</li></ul>",
