    "requisitionDescription": "<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">This position will work as part of the Community Response Team, working with the Abilene Police Department and Abilene Fire Department. &nbsp;This person will perform crisis assessments in the field, responding with the Community Response Team to 911 Mental Health Calls for adults and children. &nbsp;This position will work as part of a team to cover the times from Wednesday - Saturday, 9am - 7pm. If a holiday falls on a scheduled work day, it will be considered a work day considering the modified schedule. &nbsp;This position is responsible to perform crisis assessment services to assist persons in mental health crisis to access needed treatment and referrals, including in-patient hospitalization as needed. &nbsp;These services will be mobile crisis assessments at consumer residences and other community sites. &nbsp;The CRT Crisis Specialist will be responsible to complete crisis services within the time frame set in the Mental Health Community Standards. &nbsp;This employee will use Trauma Informed Care principals when dealing with crisis consumers. This employee will need to have effective communication skills while interacting with community agencies as well as CRT Members to resolve the crisis needs of the callers. &nbsp;Must be able to work under pressure with stressful situations while maintaining a professional manner. This position is directly supervised by the MH Program Administrator for the Admissions Unit.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">&bull; Prefer previous experience in Mental Health Crisis Work, preferably relevant to job duties. &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">&bull; Requires Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to job duties. &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">&bull; Prefer a Master&rsquo;s Degree and a clinical license (LPC, LCSW or other licensure that qualifies as a LPHA). &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">&bull; The qualified candidate will have excellent communication and problem resolution skills, demonstrated effectiveness in working under pressure, can work collaboratively as part of a team, utilize Trauma Informed Principles in day to day work, &nbsp;and can accurately assess needs of customers in a crisis situation.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">&bull; Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License and be an insurable driver. Driving is an essential function and employees must maintain an acceptable driving record/insurability while employed. &nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">Hours for this position are Wednesday - Saturday, 9am-7pm, flexible.</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">Will be eligible for a one- and two-year increase, depending on satisfactory performance.</span></p>\n",
