Working closely with production teams, subcontractors, and program leadership, the Program Specialist drives operational efficiency through measurement, data analysis and implementation of initiatives for various shipyard processes.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 825 Admirals Road, Victoria.</strong></p><p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic program initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Translate complex operational data into clear summaries, actionable insights and recommendations for program leadership.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Drive operational efficiency through cost-benefit analysis and business case development for improvement initiatives.</span>&nbsp;</li><li>Lead cross-functional operational efficiency initiatives on behalf of the Surface Vessels PMO, managing stakeholder alignment and deliverable tracking across departments.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct evaluations of industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices; translate findings into actionable recommendations for program leadership.&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Prepare presentations and reports to advise of project/program status, to be used for information and decision-making purposes.&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Assist senior program management in preparing, reviewing and updating project management plans, standard operating procedures and other program guidance documents.&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Other duties assigned by the Program Director.</span>&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You'll Bring</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Completion of a Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">At least 5 years of progressive experience in project management, contracting, or technical operations in a shipyard environment or similar.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Experience with naval or defense programs is an asset.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Professional designation(s) are an asset.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Ability to analyze large, complex datasets and identify trends, anomalies, and cost drivers.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Demonstrated experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership or Executive audiences.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Demonstration of exemplary business ethics, integrity and honesty in all situations.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; capable of taking initiative and solving complex problems.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently, both in writing and in person.</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Oracle ERP systems is an asset.</span>&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why you’ll love working here</strong></p><ul><li><span>This is a full-time, permanent position.
