Key responsibilities include: Student Activities and Organizations, Student Housing, Food Service, Student Union Operations, Campus Security, Student Tours, and Student Workers.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications</p>\n<p>· Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree Preferred</p>\n<p>· Supervisory skills</p>\n<p>· Excellent organizational and communication skills</p>\n<p>· Proven experience in student services</p>\n<p>· Exemplary customer service skills</p>\n<p>· Event planning experience</p>\n<p>· Employment is dependent upon a pre-employment background screening</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions</p>\n<p>· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard</p>\n<p>· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work</p>\n<p>· Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds</p>\n<p>· May require some travel</p>\n<p>· Indoors, environmentally controlled</p>\n<p>· Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time</p>\n<p>· Occasional stress due to deadlines and/or dealing with unpleasant or angry people</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Job Duties</p>\n<p>Essential Functions</p>\n<p>· Regular attendance and timeliness</p>\n<p>· Supervises the Food Service Director, Student Experience Coordinator on the Hays Campus, Activities Coordinators, and student workers</p>\n<p>· Oversees all operations of the student union including facility rental agreements, game room, organizing event setup and teardown, and overall facility/equipment functionality</p>\n<p>· Oversees food service operations for the Beloit campus</p>\n<p>· Oversees student housing on the Beloit campus</p>\n<p>· Organizes and administrates student senate activities and other student organizations</p>\n<p>· Responsible for student discipline outside the instructional space and refers major discipline issues to the Vice President of Student and Instructional Services</p>\n<p>· Oversees campus security</p>\n<p>· Maintain a positive relationship with law enforcement</p>\n<p>· Maintains inventory for the student union</p>\n<p>· Works with the Director of Maintenance on scheduling regular safety checks of the dorms and reports results to the Vice President of Student &amp; Instructional Services</p>\n<p>· Works closely with FHSU on the administration of the Gateway Program</p>\n<p>· Organizes student dorm assignments</p>\n<p>· Organizes dorm check in and check out activities</p>\n<p>· Organize and execute events focused on all student experiences, current and prospective</p>\n<p>· Manage college’s student ID system</p>\n<p>· Works directly with the Marketing Director in the development and distribution of marketing materials for college events</p>\n<p>· Maintains confidentiality and accurate records</p>\n<p>· Review relevant areas of the website and recommend changes to your supervisor</p>\n<p>· Demonstrate a daily commitment to Fort Hays Tech | North Central’s Mission, Vision, and Values</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Other duties as assigned by the VP of Student &amp; Instructional Services or the President</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Compensation</p>\n<p>· 12 Month Position</p>\n<p>· Compensation based on experience</p>\n<p>· Vacation per Fort Hays Tech | NC policy</p>\n<p>· Medical leave per Fort Hays Tech | NC policy</p>\n<p>· Medical Benefits Package</p>\n<p>· 125 Benefit Package</p>\n<p>· KPERS</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Applicants shall include a cover letter, resume, unofficial transcripts, and contact information for three professional references.
