This position provides a variety of recovery-oriented services to clients who have self-identified as desiring peer supports, in order to promote greater independence, community integration and recovery from addiction and/or mental illness.&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;</span>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><ul><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">High School Diploma or equivalent, required.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Must be certified as a Peer Specialist at time of hire or within the first 6 months. Must be a self-identified person currently or formerly receiving mental health services; or a self-identified person in recovery from substance abuse disorder.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty.</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">If in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety.</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty&rsquo;s vehicle insurance.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or able to attain certification.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Must be trained in administering Narcan.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA standards.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Must maintain appropriate boundaries with clients as set forth in Agency Policies and Procedures.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Must have written communication skills which support the ability to submit accurate documentation and effectively communicate.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Ability to facilitate and maintain productive communication while maintaining a professional relationship with clients and coworkers.&nbsp;</span> &nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Ability to work as a team.&nbsp;</span>&nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;font-family: ProximaNova;\">Work Schedule and Benefits: Part-Time is 20 hours per week and Full-time, 40 hours per week, non-exempt hourly position.
