As an Infant Teacher, you'll help provide the loving care, developmental support, and individualized attention that infants need while working in a collaborative childcare environment that values professionalism, teamwork, and quality early education. Qualified candidates must hold current Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification. What You'll Need to Succeed Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification required High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Minimum of one year of experience working in an infant classroom within a childcare center, daycare, preschool, or private school setting Knowledge of safe infant care practices, including feeding, sleeping, diapering, sanitation, and supporting sensory and motor development Genuine passion for infant care and early childhood development, with a nurturing and patient approach to caregiving Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Flexibility to work a full-time 8-hour shift within the center's operating hours, including opening and closing schedules as needed Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day, including spending extended periods seated on the floor Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of a childcare classroom Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the classroom for the majority of the workday What You'll Do As an Infant Teacher, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
