Reporting to the General Manager this critical position fulfills and exceeds guests’ expectations by greeting our guests and overseeing dining room activities to create an exceptional dining experience. This position is located at Alvarado on Main in Oldtown Salinas and is an hourly position with hours that will vary based on business needs.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #424242; font-size: 18px\">EVERYDAY ESSENTIAL TASKS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Ensure coverage of the entrance, greeting arriving guests and thanking those that are leaving</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Oversee and assist in maintaining cleanliness of outlet</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Check all menus for cleanliness and accuracy</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Answer the telephone, provide accurate information, and give directions to restaurant</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Maintain waiting list, select table and escort guests to the table</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Resolve guest problems whenever possible and direct communication with manager</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Answer questions regarding menu items as requested</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Clear tables and assist with set-up as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Describe table settings to busser, whenever set-up differs from the usual</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #424242; Hill in March of 2014. What started as a neighborhood brewery restaurant in Downtown Monterey has evolved into three locations dedicated to serving Monterey county’s locals and visitors alike. Our production brewery &amp; tasting room opened in the Spreckels Junction area of Salinas in 2016.
