At E2, we value safety, innovation and collaboration, and we are dedicated to excellence.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Project Controls III will assist in the development of and administers LAWA’s Program Services and collaborate and work with the Program Risk Manager to properly calculate and report project and programmatic risks.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Using LAWA’s PMIS and other sources, reviews cost and contract performance of the Capital Program and report variances and risks.</li>\n <li>Develops programmatic policies, procedures, and reports to ensure proper cost controls across the Capital Program.</li>\n <li>Performs independent analysis of project cost and contract performance throughout the project life cycle, including but not limited to, budgeting, invoice processing, progress reporting, resource management, and closeout.</li>\n <li>Assists in the development of and administers LAWA’s Program Services Budget.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with the Program Risk Manager to properly calculate and report project and programmatic risks.</li>\n <li>Works to develop tools and coordinates cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards accuracy and consistency.</li>\n <li>Assists and trains cost engineering staff across the Capital Program.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with Finance and the Estimating team on the Asset Register and project Capitalization.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with Controls staff on Expenditure Forecasting.</li>\n <li>Support controls efforts to respond to internal and external audits.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h1>Hardware/Software Knowledge</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software products, g. Excel, Word, etc.</li>\n <li>Experience with industry PMIS systems such as PMweb, etc.</li>\n <li>Experience with Adobe Acrobat is required.</li>\n <li>Experience with Primavera Project Planner Version 6.0 or higher is desirable.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>15 years or more of experience, preferably on airport projects.</li>\n <li>Previous project controls experience on a large-scale, multi-million dollar construction project required. Experience on a large-scale aviation-related project is Experience evaluating and reporting on at least two types of Alternative Delivery methods is required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment.</li>\n <li>Must be a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Effective oral and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds; must be detail-oriented and highly organized; and must be able to produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a customer-service attitude.</li>\n <li>Must present a “can-do” spirit within the controls team: inspiring them to produce consistently accurate results at a fast pace.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to understand a demanding, technical and complicated construction program; and the ability to communicate progress and issues to a technical- and management-level audience.</li>\n <li>Expertise in other Project Controls disciplines (scheduling, estimating, risk management) strongly desired.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Education/Training</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business or other related field. Master’s degree preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Element-Specific Requirements/Notes</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>May assume other duties as required/needed.</li>\n <li>Maybe required to work past regular workshifts.</li>\n <li>Maybe required to work various shifts as needed.</li>\n <li>This position offers a hybrid/telework Telework - Monday and Friday. Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
