We create impact.&#xa0;</strong></p><p>As a Senior In-House Counsel (Patents) on the Legal team reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Legal, Risk, and Compliance you will make a positive impact by: &#xa0;</p><ul><li>Lead the global management of Vusion’s patent portfolio, including oversight of outside counsel responsible for drafting, prosecuting, filing, and maintaining patent applications across multiple jurisdictions.</li><li>Work with internal stakeholders and leadership to develop and execute patent strategy aligned with Vusion’s business objectives, product roadmap, and technology development efforts.</li><li>Manage outside patent counsel, ensuring high-quality work product, cost efficiency, and adherence to internal standards and timelines.</li><li>Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and R&amp;D teams to identify patentable innovations and translate technical concepts into strong intellectual property protection.</li><li>Manage patent lifecycle activities including invention disclosures, portfolio reviews, maintenance fee payments, annuities, and strategic pruning or expansion of the portfolio.</li><li>Monitor global intellectual property law developments and provide guidance on their impact to Vusion’s patent strategy and risk posture.</li><li>Assist in developing, updating, and implementing internal patent policies, procedures, and best practices.</li><li>Contribute to broader IP risk management efforts, including competitor monitoring, landscape analysis, and defensive patent strategies.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Qualifications we're looking for.&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Experience:</strong><ul><li>5-9 years of legal experience, including significant experience in patent prosecution and portfolio management, either in-house at a technology company or at a top-tier law firm.</li><li>Experience managing and working directly with outside patent counsel across domestic and international jurisdictions.</li><li>Background supporting technology-driven organizations, with familiarity in hardware, software, or emerging technology patent matters.</li><li>Experience collaborating with engineers, product teams, and business leaders on invention capture and IP strategy.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Skills: </strong><ul><li>Ability to manage multiple patent matters simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment;</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines;</li><li>Proven ability to exercise sound legal and strategic judgment in complex IP matters;</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication including the ability to communicate technical and legal concepts to senior leadership and non-legal stakeholders;</li><li>Strong leadership presence with high integrity and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. &#xa0;&#xa0;</li></ul></li><li><strong>Abilities: </strong><ul><li>Entrepreneurial mindset;</li><li>Works will with a team;</li><li>Detail oriented and business-focused approach to transactions;</li><li>Creative thinking and problem solving.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Education: </strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university;</li><li>Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited university;</li><li>Must have an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state. &#xa0;</li><li>Must be licensed to practice before the USPTO.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>We innovate.
